After a defensive mix-up in REAL ITALIANI F.C's zone, Arif Ensar Rafiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Friggieri came out of the goal and Arif Ensar Rafiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute, Marcus Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REAL ITALIANI F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Defensor Sporting Club booed when REAL ITALIANI F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petri Tul didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Bittencourt in the 20th minute of play forced Defensor Sporting Club's goalkeeper Pavel Tushkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonza Fontano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. REAL ITALIANI F.C's Edu Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, REAL ITALIANI F.C's Adriano Friggieri got control of the ball when Desiderio Santiago tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adriano Friggieri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arif Ensar Rafiz went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 2-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Felix Roldan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Bittencourt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensor Sporting Club's goalkeeper Pavel Tushkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Bittencourt in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pavel Tushkov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 55th minute, Remo Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, REAL ITALIANI F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Melo to maneuver through the defense. Eguntsenti Sayavedra took the corner. REAL ITALIANI F.C's Eguntsenti Sayavedra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pavel Tushkov in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Defensor Sporting Club's zone, Marcus Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Tushkov came out of the goal and Marcus Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Roldan scored 3-3 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adriano Friggieri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Defensor Sporting Club were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing REAL ITALIANI F.C to leave the ground with a draw.
