Treviso FC's Alejandro Iraido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Alvarez in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonsalvo Cerra in the 12th minute of play forced PEÑAROL PIPERO's goalkeeper Oscar Ferro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Martinez Somellero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txema Avecia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Txema Avecia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Ferro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Alejandro Iraido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Horado in the 20th minute of the match. Oscar Ferro came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Treviso FC's Koldo Balli. But to his dismay, Koldo Balli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Treviso FC's Gonsalvo Cerra in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PEÑAROL PIPERO's goalie prevented a goal. Treviso FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cordarrell Sarro in the 28th minute. It was a well-played corner which Koldo Balli managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 32nd match minute, Treviso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonsalvo Cerra to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berriotxoa Valdeboys in the 34th minute of play. Alejandro Iraido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattin Solbeida in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martinez Somellero during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martinez Somellero hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Agustín Alvarez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alejandro Iraido came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustín Alvarez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonsalvo Cerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
