Colon Tordomar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivar Loayza in the 9th minute of play. Charqueada FC's Meta Tirosh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Charqueada FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Celso Mesa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Meta Tirosh was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Mesa in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Artigas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Ordoña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Meta Tirosh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Mesa in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Celso Mesa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Artigas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Charqueada FC's Meta Tirosh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lia Engraba in the 42nd minute of play. Lia Engraba didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 43rd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Lia Engraba ran dejectedly back to his position. After a rather tough play, Artigas's Esteban Sustrai got a free kick in the 45th minute.
