Donostia Orbañanos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Uruguay Buceo B.F defense, Velasco Rollan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Peru. The Uruguay Buceo B.F fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Peru should have stopped the shot. Pero Barrutia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Denis Peru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Velasco Rollan came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sociedad Anónima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Velasco Rollan couldn't finish the play. Gianluigi Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavon Murieta's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Denis Peru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pero Barrutia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Feliciano Baumar's late challenge caught a Sociedad Anónima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliciano Baumar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sociedad Anónima booed when Uruguay Buceo B.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Baumar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
