Clis Comas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themba Takane having to interfere. Darwin Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Hurko having to interfere. Damaso Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darwin Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Austral FC's Damaso Hurko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darwin Torres in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Cimarrones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Darwin Torres. Themba Takane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clis Comas went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Taniel Kips could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Damaso Hurko made a huge save. The supporters of Austral FC booed when Cimarrones F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xaime Urrechua didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Clis Comas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austral FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clis Comas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Themba Takane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Zuzen Aldeco fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cimarrones F.C.'s protests and gave Zuzen Aldeco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Austral FC booed when Cimarrones F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zuzen Aldeco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cimarrones F.C.'s Themba Takane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Valda in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Augusto Valda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Austral FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brecht Dheedene got free with Damaso Hurko in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes of play, Austral FC's Augusto Valda made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Themba Takane was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Xaime Urrechua kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damaso Hurko. That made the score 5-1 in the 98 minute of play.
