Leizarraga Olmedo took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Aveiro. Cristiano Aveiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Maxin Oces hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Grabiel Escorcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Grabiel Escorcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulin Sequeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Grabiel Escorcia made the kick off in the second half. Maxin Oces got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Johan Kiewit. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 60th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Kiewit came free, but Cristiano Aveiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match Vanadio F.C. got a corner. Johan Kiewit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nacional's Ranolfo Piedrahita was substituted for Ekain Menendez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 78th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 邵飞思 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cristiano Aveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Paulin Sequeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vanadio F.C. booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Tarasek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Walter Geromel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Johan Kiewit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulin Sequeiros made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Ranolfo Piedrahita sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nacional players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vanadio F.C..
