Txilar Redin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Kučera in the 15th minute of play. Txilar Redin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Kučera, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Guns Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Tribbiani came free, but Germán Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cefero Lluch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Kučera in the 27th minute of play forced I.A.S.A's goalkeeper Txilar Redin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Txilar Redin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Kučera in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Guns Reds getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Pim Schuurman hit a great ball. The long shot by Baldomero Lapenya in the 33rd minute really tested Germán Burgos's skills. The audience was convinced that Miroslav Kučera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Txilar Redin was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, I.A.S.A's Xavon Rio got a free kick in the 40th minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The wind increased when Miroslav Kučera made the kick off in the second half. Germán Burgos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ourente Echart in the 55th minute of play. Txilar Redin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xefe Balza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guns Reds's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pim Schuurman in the 58th minute. Guns Reds's Jan Rooney was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Txilar Redin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joey Tribbiani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germán Burgos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match, Xefe Balza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Txilar Redin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eutropio Alcubilla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Txilar Redin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the I.A.S.A players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
