In the 5th match minute, Detico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reyes Villegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Alarico Koch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudelio Recciuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Maurín Seisdedos came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Detico FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurín Seisdedos couldn't finish the play. Maurín Seisdedos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baudelio Recciuc having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pilzengrado's zone, Maurín Seisdedos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baudelio Recciuc came out of the goal and Maurín Seisdedos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Detico FC's Eufrasio Devia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pol Malaree in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alarico Koch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Baudelio Recciuc managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Detico FC's Maurín Seisdedos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 57thth minute of the game Alarico Koch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilzengrado's Baudelio Recciuc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 played minutes Pilzengrado got a freekick which was hit by Donato Luque. Detico FC's Juan Pablo Campaña shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Baudelio Recciuc but with some difficulty. After some careless play in the Detico FC defense, Pol Malaree kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eufrasio Devia. The Detico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eufrasio Devia should have stopped the shot. Eufrasio Devia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pol Malaree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benicio Monti during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benicio Monti hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Pilzengrado's goal looked a bit too open when Alarico Koch came free, but Baudelio Recciuc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Alarico Koch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baudelio Recciuc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Maurín Seisdedos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pilzengrado's Baudelio Recciuc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Baudelio Recciuc successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pilzengrado had won after a very even match.
