Xavi Abusleme charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Budeuca FC's Eloi Albarran quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Paulín Burgos, made in the 27th minute of the game. Eloi Albarran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlondón Mac Millan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in U de Chile's zone, Romelio Arriagada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlondón Mac Millan came out of the goal and Romelio Arriagada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Maquieira made a kick off. In the 55th minute, José Alejandro Huaiquipan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cerilo Sires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Romelio Arriagada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Budeuca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Francisco Ansola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Vaccia hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Orlondón Mac Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloi Albarran, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in U de Chile's zone, Israel Maquieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlondón Mac Millan came out of the goal and Israel Maquieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Alejandro Huaiquipan's late challenge caught a Budeuca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Alejandro Huaiquipan helped the player get up and apologised. Budeuca FC's Valentino Soler was substituted for Miliano Vildosola. After 87 played minutes U de Chile got a freekick which was hit by José Alejandro Huaiquipan. After having played for 89 minutes, Cerilo Sires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
