In the 12th minute, Constantino Abaroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind General Manuel Baquedano's goalkeeper Rambo Ramírez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. union española s.a.'s Stig Malmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 minutes of play, union española s.a.'s Juan Schnaidt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rambo Ramírez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rambo Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Mannhardt in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Fidel Bruggink dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rambo Ramírez, 3-0. Rambo Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Schnaidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the General Manuel Baquedano defense, Ubaldo Mannhardt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rambo Ramírez. The General Manuel Baquedano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rambo Ramírez should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Malmgren got free with Rambo Ramírez in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by General Manuel Baquedano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aristeo Potts was slow to take the kick. During this time union española s.a.'s players had a chance to rest. Aristeo Potts made a great header on union española s.a.'s corner, it was just that General Manuel Baquedano's Rambo Ramírez managed to reach the ball for a save. Rambo Ramírez was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Juan Schnaidt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan Schnaidt really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Ubaldo Mannhardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rambo Ramírez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jiljí Ritter struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Enrique Enoch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for General Manuel Baquedano. General Manuel Baquedano's Rambo Ramírez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Mannhardt in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jiljí Ritter to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of union española s.a. booed when General Manuel Baquedano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiljí Ritter didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Aristeo Potts got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rambo Ramírez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rambo Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Malmgren in the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, General Manuel Baquedano's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Malmgren came free, but Rambo Ramírez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rambo Ramírez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Schnaidt in the 61st minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, General Manuel Baquedano's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Farias came free, but Rambo Ramírez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Stig Malmgren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rambo Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Schnaidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, union española s.a.'s Enrique Enoch got control of the ball when Feliberto Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Schnaidt in the 83rd minute of play forced General Manuel Baquedano's goalkeeper Rambo Ramírez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rambo Ramírez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Farias in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes General Manuel Baquedano got a freekick which was hit by Mannuel Fontaine. Stig Malmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, union española s.a.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jiljí Ritter came free, but Enrique Enoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig Malmgren took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rambo Ramírez. Rambo Ramírez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. union española s.a. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
