Teofilo Madina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Emilio Bastías received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rambo Ramírez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rambo Ramírez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Bastías in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th play minute Emilio Bastías came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rambo Ramírez. 2-1. A collision led to General Manuel Baquedano getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Feliberto Nuñez hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Atlético Norte's Andreo Matas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rambo Ramírez was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Emilio Bastías capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emilio Bastías really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Matteo Soriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiljí Ritter, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The Atlético Norte fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Atlético Norte's Teofilo Madina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rambo Ramírez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emilio Bastías showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 38 minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, General Manuel Baquedano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Fudalej to maneuver through the defense. Constantino Abaroa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

51 minutes into the match, Atlético Norte's Teofilo Madina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rambo Ramírez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliberto Nuñez got free with Matteo Soriano in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rambo Ramírez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Madina in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Fudalej in the 57th minute of play forced Atlético Norte's goalkeeper Matteo Soriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Norte. 83 minutes into the match, Atlético Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Fudalej came free, but Matteo Soriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led General Manuel Baquedano's Krzysztof Oleszak to fire away a dangerous shot which Matteo Soriano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Karlos Domeyco's late challenge caught a Atlético Norte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karlos Domeyco helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes General Manuel Baquedano got a freekick which was hit by Karlos Domeyco. Rogerio Martel struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rambo Ramírez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Norte. Atlético Norte's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rogerio Martel in the 93rd minute. When Pere Jordi Alert fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Norte's protests and gave Pere Jordi Alert a yellow card for diving instead. Andreo Matas hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the General Manuel Baquedano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Norte.
