After a defensive mix-up in SANEANDO EL CLUB's zone, Jimeno Miquel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Marcelo Peebles came out of the goal and Jimeno Miquel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Carlos González scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Marcelo Peebles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of SANEANDO EL CLUB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Llucura:s goal. In the 46th minute, Elear Rebolledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iván Luis Feldman made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Jimeno Miquel could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which José Marcelo Peebles however easily saved by the left post. In the 58thth minute of the game Iván Luis Feldman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llucura's Marcelo Barovero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Marcelo Peebles made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jimeno Miquel sent off a good shot on target. García Sainz charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed García Sainz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. García Sainz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. SANEANDO EL CLUB's Horacio Andolini got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SANEANDO EL CLUB supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Llucura's performance. The match ended with a win for Llucura.
