After taking down the ball on Los Andes Hotspur's corner Efraín Jorge fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gino Tonić quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waclaw Dombrowski during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ballet Azul's Waclaw Dombrowski got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, Alto Gøl got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vinos Garland was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Los Andes Hotspur's Vinos Garland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Los Andes Hotspur from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 22 in the game by Alto Gøl from a close distance when the talented Vinos Garland managed to make a qualified save. Los Andes Hotspur's players were relieved. 23 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Efraín Jorge came free, but Gino Tonić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's Alto Gøl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinos Garland narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute Eladio Ulloa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinos Garland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eladio Ulloa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristián Fenieux kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Eladio Ulloa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vinos Garland. Eladio Ulloa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Vinos Garland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alto Gøl in the 42nd minute of play. Gino Tonić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Estevan Maettig in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Estevan Maettig came free, but Gino Tonić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alto Gøl was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alto Gøl in the 51st minute of play forced Los Andes Hotspur's goalkeeper Vinos Garland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ballet Azul's Alto Gøl in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vinos Garland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eladio Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Osoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gino Tonić made a huge save. 75 minutes into the game, Oğuzhan Öksak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Vinos Garland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino Tonić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efraín Jorge, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Agustin Osoro could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Gino Tonić however easily saved by the left post. Juan Estevan Maettig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ballet Azul's Cristián Fenieux got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Efraín Jorge fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Andes Hotspur's protests and gave Efraín Jorge a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ballet Azul booed when Los Andes Hotspur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efraín Jorge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinos Garland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eladio Ulloa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Andes Hotspur players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ballet Azul.
