When Ballet Azul's Eladio Ulloa in 15 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Abner Villalobos guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 16th minute, Korneliusz Miodek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Ipinco's goal looked a bit too open when Alto Gøl came free, but Abner Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Ballet Azul were awarded a corner. Pepe Rojas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ballet Azul's corner Leonel Sánchez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abner Villalobos quite easily take care of the ball. If Domingo Macuada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ipinco's Abner Villalobos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ipinco from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Eladio Ulloa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abner Villalobos. Ipinco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eladio Ulloa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some careless play in the Ipinco defense, Alto Gøl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abner Villalobos. The Ipinco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abner Villalobos should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eladio Ulloa in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abner Villalobos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, Eulalio Callejas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abner Villalobos. Eulalio Callejas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eladio Ulloa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Eladio Ulloa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abner Villalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes Ipinco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pepe Rojas who took care of the corner kick. Abner Villalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eladio Ulloa in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eladio Ulloa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abner Villalobos was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 62nd match minute, Ipinco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Poulus Lizana Lezana to maneuver through the defense.
