Alejandro Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Thalis Papazisis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Héctor Barra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Thalis Papazisis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Héctor Barra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ni Zhen Feng. Héctor Barra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ni Zhen Feng in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Capo de Provincia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Próspero Imaz to maneuver through the defense. Ni Zhen Feng's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Héctor Barra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Thalis Papazisis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Héctor Barra to make any attempt to save it. Horacio Jesus Carvallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador López, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alejandro Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Héctor Barra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ni Zhen Feng. Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Capo de Provincia from getting a goal against them. Héctor Barra made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ni Zhen Feng sent off a good shot on target. Alejandro Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Danilo Zárate hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Zárate in the 58th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Héctor Barra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Zárate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Héctor Barra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Capo de Provincia's Eder Garland was substituted for Fazil App. Capo de Provincia's David Villa was substituted for Christiano Cabañas. 68 minutes into the match, Baez FC's Thalis Papazisis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Héctor Barra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute Ni Zhen Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Héctor Barra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baez FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruperto Ralondo in the 71st minute. Baez FC's Ruperto Ralondo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Héctor Barra in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Capo de Provincia's zone, Ni Zhen Feng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Héctor Barra came out of the goal and Ni Zhen Feng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Thalis Papazisis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baez FC's Thalis Papazisis managed to work through Capo de Provincia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Thalis Papazisis dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 81 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Carvallo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Villa. Héctor Barra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Papazisis in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Baez FC were awarded a corner. Ruperto Ralondo went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Baez FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Capo de Provincia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
