Davi Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Davi Vidal came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Olympikus Brasil Clube's João Francisco Capixaba. But to his dismay, João Francisco Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Elder Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Brasil having to interfere. Waldir Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Carlos Alberto Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Marcos Paraíba made the kick off in the second half. If Waldir Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elder Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kiko de Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espraiado SC's protests and gave Kiko de Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. Kiko de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldir Breckenfeld in the 57th minute. When Elder Branco came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Espraiado SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Branco couldn't finish the play. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Olympikus Brasil Clube! The goalkeeper, Carlos Alberto Brasil, was totally fooled by Espraiado SC's Cássio Maranhense, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A hard shot by Olavo Carneiro from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Carlos Alberto Brasil's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Espraiado SC's Elder Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elder Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Breckenfeld in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Alberto Brasil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Espraiado SC defense, Marcos Paraíba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Davi Vidal. The Espraiado SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Davi Vidal should have stopped the shot. In the 86thth minute of the game Elder Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympikus Brasil Clube's Carlos Alberto Brasil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elder Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 minutes of play, Olympikus Brasil Clube's Nelson Veiga made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Davi Vidal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Alberto Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Branco in the 97th minute of play.
