The wind increased when Severino Sena made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Sena in the 53rd minute of play forced Contria's goalkeeper João Pedro Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Alex Paulista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Boludos's Oséas da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anísio Alves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but João Pedro Neiva made a huge save. The Atlético Boludos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Boludos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
