In the 21st match minute, Chuvarada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Vander to maneuver through the defense. Özalp Sabahaddin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Paraibano's late challenge caught a Chuvarada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paraibano helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by José Paraibano. Ye Guo Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Amorim in the 29th minute of the match. With his leg Amadeu Bertassi managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ's Özalp Sabahaddin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ's Özalp Sabahaddin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özalp Sabahaddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Bertassi having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Özalp Sabahaddin made the kick off in the second half. Eusebiu Dulgherescu fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 55th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. If Flavinho Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Özalp Sabahaddin might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeu Bertassi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Özalp Sabahaddin ran back to his position shaking his head. Amadeu Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özalp Sabahaddin in the 59th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Chuvarada got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal da Fonseca. Amadeu Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özalp Sabahaddin in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ booed when Chuvarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Özalp Sabahaddin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 73 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Amadeu Bertassi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuvarada the free kick. 86 minutes into the match, Flavinho Meirelles notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chuvarada's Amadeu Bertassi. Amadeu Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When José Paraibano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. After 92 played minutes Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by José Paraibano. The audience was convinced that Presebal Lorenzo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Bertassi was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 96thth minute of the game Flavinho Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuvarada's Amadeu Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leipzig Catarinense FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
