Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilian Lira started the match with the kick off. Carlos Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Wilian Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Macedônia FC's Laércio Tróia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Macedônia FC's Carlos Queirós threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adriano de Queirós, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Carlos Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Mauro Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Queirós. Curtindo a vida adoidado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Roger Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Pernambucano in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Macedônia FC's Wilian Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laércio Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilian Lira struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Carlos Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macedônia FC. Gualter Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Curtindo a vida adoidado getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Betinho Vale hit a great ball. When Macedônia FC's Wilian Lira in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curtindo a vida adoidado's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Lira in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Queirós prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Queirós made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Gualter Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Gualter Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Carlos Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curtindo a vida adoidado's goalkeeper Carlos Queirós, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Délio Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Queirós having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Wilian Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Queirós. Curtindo a vida adoidado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilian Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauan Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raí Queirós's late challenge caught a Macedônia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raí Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curtindo a vida adoidado fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Macedônia FC a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mauro Mendonça, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curtindo a vida adoidado's Carlos Queirós. 5-0. When Macedônia FC's Wilian Lira in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curtindo a vida adoidado's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Curtindo a vida adoidado's zone, Wilian Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Queirós came out of the goal and Wilian Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilian Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience was convinced that Wilian Lira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Queirós was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Curtindo a vida adoidado's zone, Laércio Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Queirós came out of the goal and Laércio Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Wilian Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gualter Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play, Macedônia FC's Wilian Lira made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Lira's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilian Lira in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Queirós saved Curtindo a vida adoidado from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Laércio Tróia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Queirós. Curtindo a vida adoidado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laércio Tróia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. If Wilian Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
