That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Oğuz Doğanlar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mocoto FC's Wilton Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Imortal Tricolor getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dedê Batista hit a great ball. Oğuz Doğanlar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Wilton Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Imortal Tricolor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Hermes to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute of the match, Oğuz Doğanlar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilton Arruda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wilton Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Costa in the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oğuz Doğanlar in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilton Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kléber de Lima scored 3-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilton Arruda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuz Doğanlar in the 47th minute of play forced Mocoto FC's goalkeeper Wilton Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Imortal Tricolor booed when Mocoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 minutes, Chiquinho Hermes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imortal Tricolor and the Mocoto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute Oğuz Doğanlar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mocoto FC's José Vítor Soeiro got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Mocoto FC defense, Oğuz Doğanlar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilton Arruda. The Mocoto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilton Arruda should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, Imortal Tricolor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Batista to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Bebeto Mumbach shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heino Schaaf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Oğuz Doğanlar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilton Arruda. Mocoto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oğuz Doğanlar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Oğuz Doğanlar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuz Doğanlar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Álvaro Palmeira hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oğuz Doğanlar in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilton Arruda saved Mocoto FC from getting behind. Wilton Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuz Doğanlar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pang Chen Chen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Arruda having to interfere. With a left leg Wilton Arruda saved Mocoto FC from getting behind. Wilton Arruda came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Imortal Tricolor's Oğuz Doğanlar. But to his dismay, Oğuz Doğanlar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Oğuz Doğanlar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Wilton Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Imortal Tricolor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
