After a defensive mix-up in BAMOR FC's zone, João Paulo Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex da Silveira came out of the goal and João Paulo Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunes F.C.'s Tomé Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Mota in the 22nd minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Reis hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Moura during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 26 minutes into the game, one of Nunes F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave BAMOR FC a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eusébio Moreno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nunes F.C.'s Tomé Barbosa. 0-1. Hílton Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fabiano Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex da Silveira having to interfere. If João Paulo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Moreno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex da Silveira having to make a save. João Paulo Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute João Paulo Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Paulo Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Nunes F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BAMOR FC were winning 0-1.

In the 58th minute, Márcio Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Nunes F.C. booed when BAMOR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Hílton Mota took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Tomé Barbosa to make any attempt to save it. Márcio Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tomé Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Nunes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Reis. Alex da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilson Vianna, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Nunes F.C.'s Eliézer Guimarães managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Umberto de Moraes in the 82 minute of the game. When João Paulo Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Nunes F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Paulo Moreno couldn't finish the play. If Gilson Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nunes F.C.'s Tomé Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Mota in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Nunes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Mota came free, but Tomé Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BAMOR FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nunes F.C.'s much stronger midfield.
