The Anuan AD fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Anuan AD's Caio Carvalho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gualter Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Eliézer Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Caio Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Marcelo Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anuan AD. In the 36th minute, Caio Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 42nd match minute, Anuan AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrício Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Elias Siqueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belmiro Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Simões having to interfere. Belmiro Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Marcelo Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caio Carvalho to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caio Carvalho in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caio Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Simões having to interfere. Belmiro Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ziqui-Zira's Alexsandro Cruz got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Belmiro Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Eliézer Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anuan AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliézer Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ziqui-Zira's Alexsandro Cruz got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Wesley Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ziqui-Zira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anuan AD the free kick. Marcelo Simões was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Caio Carvalho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Caio Carvalho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 74 minutes into the match, Ziqui-Zira's goalkeeper Marcelo Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belmiro Vander. In the 76th minute Caio Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Caio Carvalho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelo Simões, 0-6. A collision led to Ziqui-Zira getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Serginho Cordeiro hit a great ball. If Belmiro Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Anuan AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ziqui-Zira throughout the match.
