The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hidrolandia's Gugu Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dadá Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabiano Miranda went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fabiano Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aírton de Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Léo Damião shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dadá Viana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Ninguém Dorme F.C getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Roberto Arósio hit a great ball. Ninguém Dorme F.C's Dadá Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Miranda in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 minutes, Nico Mangueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hidrolandia and the Ninguém Dorme F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Ninguém Dorme F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Moura came free, but Dadá Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gugu Moura struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dadá Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hidrolandia. Hidrolandia's Fabiano Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gugu Moura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dadá Viana having to make a save. In the 41st minute Luiz Fábio Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Hidrolandia's Fabiano Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dadá Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Moura in the 55th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silas Viana during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Ninguém Dorme F.C got a freekick which was hit by Silas Viana. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Fabiano Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hidrolandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dadá Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiano Miranda scored 0-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dadá Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabiano Mirandas short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Dadá Viana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Ninguém Dorme F.C's Dadá Viana got control of the ball when Fabiano Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Gugu Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hidrolandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gugu Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dadá Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Ninguém Dorme F.C's goalkeeper Dadá Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Miranda. Dadá Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Moura in the 75th minute of the match. Fabiano Miranda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dadá Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Ninguém Dorme F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gugu Moura fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hidrolandia's Tomás Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Arósio in the 89th minute of play. Dadá Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ninguém Dorme F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hidrolandia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
