The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Segalla Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Mangueira came free, but Stasio Siwek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jarbas Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stasio Siwek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Gomes in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Mathias Novaes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matariz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Segalla Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Matariz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Novaes to maneuver through the defense. Jarbas Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
