Václav Hoza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Vicente Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giuseppe Leal got free with Baltazar Britto in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joel Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giuseppe Leal in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baltazar Britto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vicente Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Baltazar Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Audax-AC. Baltazar Britto made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Giuseppe Leal sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 30 in the game by Giuseppe Leal from a close distance when the talented Baltazar Britto managed to make a qualified save. Cacauzinho SS's players were relieved. After 30 played minutes Cacauzinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Cléber dos Santos. Vicente Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Baltazar Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltazar Britto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giuseppe Leal's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Cacauzinho SS's Baltazar Britto got control of the ball when Giuseppe Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Maria Gomes fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Audax-AC's protests and gave José Maria Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Atlético Audax-AC got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Gomes. 48 minutes into the match, Atlético Audax-AC's goal looked a bit too open when Václav Hoza came free, but Elano Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Baltazar Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Leal in the 52nd minute of play. Baltazar Britto came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Audax-AC's Giuseppe Leal. But to his dismay, Giuseppe Leal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 58th minute, Arlindo do Valle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elano Madureira. The goal made the score 1-1. The audience was convinced that Giuseppe Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltazar Britto was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cacauzinho SS's Deivid Medeiros got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes Atlético Audax-AC got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Arce.
