After some careless play in the Camboeiro SC defense, Tony Figueiredo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Arce. The Camboeiro SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Arce should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Dantas in the 28th minute of play forced Mashoutsukai Sport Klub's goalkeeper Joel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The tension between the Camboeiro SC and the Mashoutsukai Sport Klub players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Camboeiro SC's Murilo Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, Serginho Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camboeiro SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mashoutsukai Sport Klub the free kick. After 62 played minutes Camboeiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Castro. It was beautiful to see Mashoutsukai Sport Klub's Olívio de Sena in action when he in the 64th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Tony Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Camboeiro SC's zone, Tony Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Carlos Arce came out of the goal and Tony Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serginho Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Figueiredo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carlos Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 77 minutes into the match, Camboeiro SC's Wilton de Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tony Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Arce having to interfere. Tony Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilton de Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Joel Alves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Gino Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Carlos Arce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tony Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Eduardo Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. José Carlos Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Tony Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mashoutsukai Sport Klub fully deserved thier win.
