Geovânio Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Sampaio in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Oitis SS booed when CLUB PHOENIX CASABLANCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, one of CLUB PHOENIX CASABLANCA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After taking down the ball on Oitis SS's corner Elder de Almeida fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedrão Fernandes quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Fabinho de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oitis SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabinho de Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrão Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jardel Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovânio Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Fabinho de Moraes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After the first half CLUB PHOENIX CASABLANCA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Fernando Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geovânio Matorin came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB PHOENIX CASABLANCA's Clemente Andrade. But to his dismay, Clemente Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Oitis SS's Carlos Fernando Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Oitis SS's goalkeeper Geovânio Matorin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Andrade. Jardel Sampaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geovânio Matorin having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente Andrade got free with Geovânio Matorin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Carlos Fernando Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabinho de Moraes took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrão Fernandes. Pedrão Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 81 minutes into the match, CLUB PHOENIX CASABLANCA's Clemente Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovânio Matorin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jardel Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Matorin having to interfere. The supporters of Oitis SS booed when CLUB PHOENIX CASABLANCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
