Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jano Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Mendonça made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Cosme got free with Ezequiel Mendonça in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ezequiel Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Mojiquicaba's goalkeeper Ezequiel Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jano Cosme. After a defensive mix-up in Borborema's zone, Alfredo Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Almeida came out of the goal and Alfredo Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Passos in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as José Vítor Passos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ezequiel Mendonça. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 38th minute, José Vítor Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor Passos made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Fabiano Furlan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Mojiquicaba's Ricardinho Paiva got a free kick in the 57th minute. With 59 minutes on the clock, Sydney Cabral commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ezequiel Mendonça had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Júnior Prado's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Borborema's Júnior Prado after 63 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Mojiquicaba's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-0. Ricardinho Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Ricardinho Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardinho Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jano Cosme took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Mendonça. Ezequiel Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Mojiquicaba's Ricardinho Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardinho Paiva struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jonas Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mojiquicaba. 98 minutes into the game, Adilson Sousa threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mojiquicaba's Valdir Travassos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Borborema's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
