Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonçalo Paiva got free with Moisés Antunes in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osmar Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osmar Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Evaristo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Moraes in the 14th minute of the match. Gonçalo Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Moisés Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amadeu Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Moisés Antunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 32 minutes Cosmus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Genílson Linhares who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Camelo's corner Genílson Linhares fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Evaristo Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. Nelsinho Palmeira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Moisés Antunes came out and tried to block the shot, but Nelsinho Palmeira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match, Gonçalo Paiva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Moisés Antunes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Cosmus's Nelsinho Palmeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moisés Antunes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Serginho Nogueira's late challenge caught a Cosmus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serginho Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Camelo got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Nogueira. After having played for 56 minutes, Amadeu Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cosmus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amadeu Araújo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Antunes. Moisés Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 66 minutes, Gonçalo Paiva made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Camelo's Moisés Antunes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cosmus's Amadeu Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Amadeu Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cosmus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Nelsinho Palmeira hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Moisés Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Araújo in the 83rd minute of play. Amadeu Araújo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Moisés Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosmus. 88 minutes into the match, Cosmus's Gonçalo Paiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Gonçalo Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moisés Antunes was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. With a little luck, Cosmus's Evaristo Azevedo got control of the ball when Serginho Nogueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Camelo's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Araújo came free, but Moisés Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Cosmus players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
