Lauro Damião took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho Nunes. Robinho Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Lauro Damião was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 14 minutes into the match, Lauro Damião had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robinho Nunes. E.C. Paraguaçuense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lauro Damião was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Lauro Damião came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cavalaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Damião couldn't finish the play. Vladko Cherepov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Robinho Nunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, E.C. Paraguaçuense's Robinho Nunes got control of the ball when Guaberto Gipuzkoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Lauro Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doni Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Robinho Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Vladko Cherepov lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Robinho Nunes. Vladko Cherepov succeeded in the game's 37th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladko Cherepov made a kick off. Doni Melo took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho Nunes. Robinho Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 56th minute, Lauro Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 minutes, Vladko Cherepov made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. E.C. Paraguaçuense's Robinho Nunes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Vladko Cherepov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robinho Nunes was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladko Cherepov in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robinho Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robinho Nunes came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cavalaria's Doni Melo. But to his dismay, Doni Melo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After 76 played minutes Cavalaria got a freekick which was hit by Benê de Azevedo. In the 81st minute Hernani Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Vander hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as E.C. Paraguaçuense's Jacinto Lopes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matheus Rosado. That made the score 8-1 after 87 minutes of play. If Hernani Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cleiton Donato struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Matheus Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C. Paraguaçuense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladko Cherepov in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robinho Nunes saved E.C. Paraguaçuense from getting behind. Cavalaria walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
