After 4th play minutes Ethan Sawyer shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Antônio Leal and just under the crossbar into goal. Ethan Sawyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Leal having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Osmar Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ethan Sawyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Antônio Leal made a huge save. The supporters of Teresina FC booed when Rezende FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ethan Sawyer struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Antônio Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teresina FC. Nuno Lucas's late challenge caught a Teresina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. Nuno Lucas hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Teresina FC's Osmar Paes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antônio Leal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rezende FC's zone, Fikret Cevval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Leal came out of the goal and Fikret Cevval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ethan Sawyer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antônio Leal having to make a save. In the 42ndth minute of the game Ethan Sawyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rezende FC's Antônio Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ethan Sawyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Antônio Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ethan Sawyer took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Leal. Antônio Leal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ethan Sawyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rezende FC's Antônio Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ethan Sawyer sped through Rezende FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antônio Leal. Fabinho Freitas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Ethan Sawyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rezende FC's Antônio Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rezende FC's Fabiano Lucas got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 87 minutes of play, Teresina FC's Ethan Sawyer made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabinho Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabinho Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, Rezende FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Antônio Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Sawyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Fikret Cevval hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Teresina FC fully deserved thier win.
