Asrın Yağınalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Paulão Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asrın Yağınalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Luís Fernando Valadares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tyllings AC the free kick. In the 9th minute, one of Patos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Patos. Patos's Vitório Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Váldson Marques in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Thymios Marinakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vitório Albuquerque, 2-0. In the 19th minute, Cássio de Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Patos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Tyllings AC's Asrın Yağınalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Queiroz in the 26th minute of play. Tyllings AC's Thymios Marinakis got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Patos's zone, Thymios Marinakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Albuquerque came out of the goal and Thymios Marinakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Válter Lira had several of the Patos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Vitório Albuquerque as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Tyllings AC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ulisses de Senna hit a great ball. Vitório Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thymios Marinakis in the 44th minute of play. Asrın Yağınalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Meirelles in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Thymios Marinakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tyllings AC's Asrın Yağınalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio de Amaral in the 55th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Tyllings AC got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses de Senna. In the 66th minute, Válter Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitório Albuquerque was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. A collision led to Patos getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Paulão Velasco hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Patos defense, Thymios Marinakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vitório Albuquerque. The Patos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vitório Albuquerque should have stopped the shot. Vitório Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thymios Marinakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Paulão Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulão Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thymios Marinakis in the 77th minute of play forced Patos's goalkeeper Vitório Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thymios Marinakis scored 7-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitório Albuquerque, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomé Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Asrın Yağınalp made a huge save. Asrın Yağınalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Tyllings AC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Velasco came free, but Asrın Yağınalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Tyllings AC's Válter Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitório Albuquerque made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Tyllings AC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
