Emanuel Maranhense stood somewhat misplaced when Douglas Sergipano came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. The supporters of Bacaiuval SS booed when Barcelona F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Douglas Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, César Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacaiuval SS's supporters rose to their feet, but César Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute Douglas Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Maranhense having to interfere. If Douglas Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Barcelona F.C defense, Douglas Sergipano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Maranhense. The Barcelona F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Maranhense should have stopped the shot. Bacaiuval SS's Douglas Sergipano got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when César Silveira sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the game, Fernando Mello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bacaiuval SS the free kick. The supporters of Bacaiuval SS booed when Barcelona F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Douglas Sergipano sped through Barcelona F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emanuel Maranhense. If Celso Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Douglas Sergipano was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Douglas Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Gugu Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Gonçalo Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacaiuval SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Emanuel Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacaiuval SS. Barcelona F.C's Emanuel Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Nogueira in the 61st minute of play. Fernando Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Vargas having to interfere. Emanuel Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Juan Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Bacaiuval SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Nogueira couldn't finish the play. If César Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gugu Aguiar hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes, Bacaiuval SS's Gonçalo Tande shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Maranhense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bacaiuval SS reached it. Fernando Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Emanuel Maranhense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacaiuval SS. Celso Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. César Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Emanuel Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
