Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Víktor Meira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jorginho Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Frances in the 4th minute of the match. Víktor Meira struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Oséias Paraibano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CESC FC. After 10 minutes, Tomás Barbosa made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. CESC FC's Jorginho Marquez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 18 minutes, Tomás Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teresina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léo Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Marquez having to interfere. In the 25th minute Tomás Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorginho Marquez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nico Sabóia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. In the 31st minute, Léo Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Gerardo Frances had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorginho Marquez. CESC FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Frances was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Jorginho Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Barbosa in the 36th minute of the match. Tomás Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Barbosa in the 45th minute of play forced CESC FC's goalkeeper Jorginho Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Barbosa was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes CESC FC got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Meira. Durvalino Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorginho Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Barbosa in the 57th minute of play. CESC FC's Jorginho Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Jakobe in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the CESC FC defense, Tomás Barbosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorginho Marquez. The CESC FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorginho Marquez should have stopped the shot. Jorginho Marquez came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Teresina FC's Gerardo Frances. But to his dismay, Gerardo Frances quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 77th minute, Gerardo Frances ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorginho Marquez was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 83 minutes into the match, CESC FC's goal looked a bit too open when Durvalino Pimenta came free, but Jorginho Marquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Teresina FC's Gerardo Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorginho Marquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Jorginho Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Frances in the 90th minute of play. CESC FC's Jorginho Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Barbosa in the 92nd minute of play. When Tomás Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Teresina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Teresina FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
