Hugo Mendonça started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Falcão Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cavalo Crioulo FC's Luisito Brion was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 8th minute, Gerardo Eufemio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sydney Cruz. The goal made the score 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisito Brion in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Luisito Brion took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sydney Cruz to make any attempt to save it. In the 19th minute, Antônio Carlos Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AF São Francisco's zone, Falcão Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Cruz came out of the goal and Falcão Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sydney Cruz made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Gerardo Eufemio sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in AF São Francisco's zone, Gerardo Eufemio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Cruz came out of the goal and Gerardo Eufemio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sydney Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisito Brion's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Cafu Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Samuel Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavalo Crioulo FC's protests and gave Samuel Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Linhares hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Hugo Mendonça took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armandinho Prado. Armandinho Prado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Sydney Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Sydney Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Brion in the 39th minute of play. When Cavalo Crioulo FC's Falcão Bertassi in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AF São Francisco's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the game, Luisito Brion recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sydney Cruz. Luisito Brion showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Cavalo Crioulo FC's Armandinho Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Linhares in the 45th minute of play. Luisito Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st match minute, Cavalo Crioulo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Cavalo Crioulo FC's Armandinho Prado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cavalo Crioulo FC from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the game, Cavalo Crioulo FC's Luisito Brion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sydney Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Luisito Brion took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Cruz. Sydney Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. If Luisito Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tytus Matuch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sydney Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Cafu Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AF São Francisco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cavalo Crioulo FC the free kick. A collision led to AF São Francisco getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cafu Amaral hit a great ball. Cavalo Crioulo FC were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after AF São Francisco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisito Brion took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Tytus Matuch advanced and headed the ball into goal, 7-1 in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Brion in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sydney Cruz saved AF São Francisco from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Cavalo Crioulo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Mello came free, but Armandinho Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Linhares got free with Armandinho Prado in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisito Brion blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sydney Cruz having to make a save. Luisito Brion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sydney Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Luisito Brion succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-1. Gerardo Eufemio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
