Edson Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Neves in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Valdemar de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 played minutes Resplendor got a freekick which was hit by Gilson de Godoy. In the 15th minute Sebastião Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Válter Queiroz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Enéas Arantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 23 minutes of play, Fracassados's Sebastião Borges made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enéas Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Válter Queiroz scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enéas Arantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdemar de Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Edson Mota made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eurico de Queiroz during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fracassados! In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Resplendor. Yan Teixeira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Edson Mota. 1-3. 39 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goal looked a bit too open when Válter Queiroz came free, but Enéas Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Pontes in the 44th minute of play. Valdemar de Mendonça took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edson Mota. Edson Mota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After the first half Fracassados were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Rogério Neves made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Resplendor got a freekick which was hit by Celso Porto. Sebastião Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Enéas Arantes made a huge save. With a little luck, Resplendor's Enéas Arantes got control of the ball when Ricardinho Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valdemar de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Edson Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Rogério Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Benjamin Correia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resplendor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fracassados the free kick. Benjamin Correia hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Válter Queiroz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enéas Arantes came out and tried to block the shot, but Válter Queiroz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 66th minute. In the 68th match minute, Resplendor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Correia to maneuver through the defense. Valdemar de Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edson Mota having to make a save. A collision led to Fracassados getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ricardinho Marinho hit a great ball. Enéas Arantes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Borges in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Renatinho Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goal looked a bit too open when Válter Queiroz came free, but Enéas Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Celso Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resplendor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fracassados the free kick. Enéas Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Queiroz in the 85th minute of the match. Belmiro Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Belmiro Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Queiroz in the 90th minute of play forced Resplendor's goalkeeper Enéas Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
