Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Eagle Team's Dorian Azevedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eagle Team's Herman Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Trancoso in the 5th minute of play. Durval Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Azevedo in the 7th minute of play. Geraldo Negri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Durval Sá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Durval Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorian Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Dorian Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durval Sá. Nacional PR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorian Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Herman Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Velloso in the 20th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nacional PR's Gugu Trancoso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herman Wallin. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. In the 28th match minute, Nacional PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Travassos to maneuver through the defense. When Bernát Mátyás fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eagle Team's protests and gave Bernát Mátyás a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Paulo Velloso was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Herman Wallin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Eagle Team's Dorian Azevedo in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nacional PR's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute Gugu Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dorian Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Teixeira during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fausto Teixeira hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Herman Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Trancoso in the 54th minute of play. Jânio de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Wallin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Paulo Velloso in the 60th minute of play forced Eagle Team's goalkeeper Herman Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Wallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Trancoso in the 60th minute of the match. Herman Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Trancoso in the 62nd minute of play. If Jânio de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Gugu Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eagle Team's Herman Wallin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Conrado Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eagle Team's protests and gave Conrado Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead. Herman Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Velloso in the 71st minute of play. Dorian Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gugu Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Dorian Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Wallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Trancoso in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eagle Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fausto Teixeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Nacional PR's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Nacional PR's Fausto Teixeira to fire away a dangerous shot which Herman Wallin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Eagle Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Trancoso came free, but Herman Wallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Paulo Velloso struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Herman Wallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nacional PR. Despite being the better team, Nacional PR failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
