An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Trigo in the 24th minute of play forced Agrizzi ES's goalkeeper Arlindo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Agrizzi ES's Celsinho Souto got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Garajuva FC booed when Agrizzi ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arlindo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Azevedo in the 33rd minute of play. The Garajuva FC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Garajuva FC's Serafim Trigo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st minute, Christian Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Agrizzi ES got a freekick which was hit by Christian Correia. Agrizzi ES's Celsinho Souto pulled a muscle in his back after 48 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Paulo Barral during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Haroldo Cunha had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Pedrinho Urbano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Garajuva FC defense, Pedrinho Urbano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Cunha. The Garajuva FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Cunha should have stopped the shot. After the first half Garajuva FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafim Trigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Adelino Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arlindo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Wágner Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Wágner Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 63 in the game by Adelino Sá from a close distance when the talented Arlindo Brasil managed to make a qualified save. Agrizzi ES's players were relieved. In the 68th minute, Garajuva FC's Serafim Trigo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arlindo Brasil. Arlindo Brasil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Trigo in the 76th minute of play forced Agrizzi ES's goalkeeper Arlindo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Adelino Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garajuva FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlindo Brasil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Garajuva FC defense, Wágner Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Cunha. Serafim Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Garajuva FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
