Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mazinho Pena took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Olimpico's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Pena came free, but Luizão Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute, Jaime Soeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 16th minute Mazinho Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Washington Terra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Luizão Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Bertassi in the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tarquinho FC's zone, Perivaldo de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Maranhense came out of the goal and Perivaldo de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Olimpico's Washington Terra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Maranhense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Tony Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Jaime Soeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Washington Terra put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Maranhense. With his leg Ricardo Maranhense managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Olimpico's Washington Terra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ricardo Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Terra in the 50th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Washington Terra was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Soeiro in the 54th minute of play forced Tarquinho FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ricardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jaime Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Maranhense having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Washington Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ricardo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Soeiro in the 67th minute of play. Jaime Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Maranhense having to interfere. Olimpico's Luizão Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Olimpico from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Perivaldo de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Maranhense was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tarquinho FC's zone, Jaime Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Maranhense came out of the goal and Jaime Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Dino Mello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Perivaldo de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Maranhense having to interfere. Jaime Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Maranhense having to interfere. Perivaldo de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Olimpico fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Olimpico's Washington Terra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 95 minutes, Perivaldo de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olimpico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perivaldo de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Washington Terra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Maranhense having to make a save. Ricardo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olimpico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
