With an all-out effort, União Agrícola Barbarense's Erivaldo Marquez threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reginaldo Arce, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 18 minutes into the match, Dedé Leme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erivaldo Marquez. FalindoPorCausaDoMz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedé Leme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Giovanni Travassos came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by FalindoPorCausaDoMz's Fabinho Santana. But to his dismay, Fabinho Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 33 minutes into the match, Fabinho Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovanni Travassos. União Agrícola Barbarense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabinho Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Edmílson Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Giovanni Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Travassos having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

União Agrícola Barbarense's Giovanni Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save União Agrícola Barbarense from getting a goal against them. Fabinho Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Reginaldo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FalindoPorCausaDoMz's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
