The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Vitória's goalkeeper Gilson Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Neiva. Gilson Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Matheus Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dito Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dito Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Inácio Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jardel Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Novaes having to interfere. Jardel Neiva took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilson Novaes. Gilson Novaes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Jardel Neiva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rodrigo Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Vitória's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Azevedo came free, but Gilson Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Esporte Clube Vitória getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dito Lara hit a great ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Rodrigo Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esporte Clube Vitória's Gilson Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Rodrigo Azevedo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilson Novaes, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Greens Fields AD's Rodrigo Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilson Novaes. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. If Rodrigo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardel Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Gilson Novaes made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan de Sousa during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Greens Fields AD getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jonathan de Sousa hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matheus Galvão made a kick off. Rodrigo Azevedo scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilson Novaes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jardel Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gilson Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nelsinho Travassos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Alex Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Greens Fields AD's André Cavalcante couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Esporte Clube Vitória. When Greens Fields AD's Jardel Neiva in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esporte Clube Vitória's goalie prevented a goal. If Jardel Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilson Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jardel Neiva went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ronaldinho Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Silva having to interfere. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Greens Fields AD. André Cavalcante stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gilson Novaes. 5-0. Jardel Neiva struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gilson Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greens Fields AD. When Jardel Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Greens Fields AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jardel Neiva couldn't finish the play. If Jardel Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
