Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Donato Domingues started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Bertassi got free with Bernardo Fontes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute, Romeu Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soad FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Geovânio dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Bago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio dos Santos couldn't finish the play. Donato Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Fontes having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, André Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Bago's goal looked a bit too open when Romeu Toledo came free, but André Luís de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soad FC's Bernardo Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Domingues in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Romeu Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeu Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When André Moura fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bago's protests and gave André Moura a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Bago got a freekick which was hit by André Moura. Bernardo Fontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romeu Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Domingues in the 53rd minute of play forced Soad FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Fontes having to interfere. David Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís de Alcântara having to interfere. The supporters of Soad FC booed when Bago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Bago's André Luís de Alcântara got control of the ball when Baltazar Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardo Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horácio Bertassi's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Bernardo Fontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horácio Bertassi went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Donato Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bago's Donato Domingues in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soad FC's goalie prevented a goal. Donato Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bernardo Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bago's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
