In the 9th minute, Ismael de Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uberaba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gil Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Macedo having to interfere. In the 15th minute Hudson Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Entremontes's Albertinho Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Carneiro in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Gil Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albertinho Macedo. Entremontes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Entremontes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Flavinho Carneiro scored to the left of an out of position Albertinho Macedo, making the score, 3-0. Flavinho Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Albertinho Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavinho Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Macedo having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Albertinho Macedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Albertinho Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Entremontes's goal looked a bit too open when Flavinho Carneiro came free, but Albertinho Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Albertinho Macedo made a huge save. If Ismael de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Entremontes's Albertinho Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Cordeiro in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Entremontes's zone, Ismael de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho Macedo came out of the goal and Ismael de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertinho Macedo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Uberaba FC's Gil Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Gil Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Entremontes's Albertinho Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho Carneiro in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Uberaba FC's Serginho Meirelles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albertinho Macedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Flavinho Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Macedo having to interfere. Zé Carlos de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Uberaba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertinho Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandro Silva hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Entremontes's Albertinho Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael de Queirós in the 81st minute of play. Serginho Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Macedo having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Gil Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uberaba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Entremontes getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cacá Prestes hit a great ball. Joaquim Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uberaba FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
