In the 18th minute, Gláuber Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to EspartaFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Yan Leão hit a great ball. Gláuber Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubens Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute of the match, Gláuber Moura tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Pedro Soares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of EspartaFC booed when Bacue EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gláuber Moura made a kick off. Gláuber Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Pedro Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Jardel Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacue EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubens Paraibano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jefferson Lira having to make a save. If Fred Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Bacue EC's Dalmo Leão got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Fred Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Bacue EC got a freekick which was hit by Tião Brasil. Jefferson Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Bacue EC's Jefferson Lira got control of the ball when Fred Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fred Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Bacue EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubens Paraibano came free, but Jefferson Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
