Osvaldo Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Cosme in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Wiig booed when Jantus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Rodolfo Lira put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Jantus FC a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gustavo Vinhas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wiig's Almir Messias. 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Jantus FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wiig:s goal. Jantus FC:s Osvaldo Netto showed great skill when he stopped Diego do Valle:s penalty. Gustavo Vinhas scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almir Messias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Almir Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Bueno in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Wiig's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Bueno came free, but Almir Messias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eusébio Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Almir Messias was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Almir Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Bueno in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Gustavo Vinhas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jantus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusébio Bueno made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wiig's goalkeeper Almir Messias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wiig's Almir Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Bueno in the 55th minute of play. Frank Hames kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Jantus FC's Eusébio Bueno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Messias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Eusébio Bueno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Almir Messias. Eusébio Bueno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. When Gustavo Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Jantus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Vinhas couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 75 minutes, Lucas da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jantus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, Jantus FC's Eusébio Bueno made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Messias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mazinho Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Messias having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, Jantus FC's Eusébio Bueno made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Messias was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Eusébio Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Almir Messias was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Jantus FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
