After some careless play in the Templarius FC - FDFDF defense, Zé Pedro Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Perez. The Templarius FC - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Perez should have stopped the shot. Ismael de Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juninho Perez having to make a save. In the 17th match minute, Templarius FC - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Paulista to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Zé Pedro Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juninho Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael de Senna in the 20th minute of play. Giovani Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luís Dantas having to interfere. Juninho Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ismael de Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juninho Perez. Templarius FC - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Edgard Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Perez having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Patrick Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Templarius FC - FDFDF and the Grêmio Maringá players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cauan Mangueira hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Edgard Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Mangueira charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cauan Mangueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cauan Mangueira hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Templarius FC - FDFDF's Juninho Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael de Senna in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Ricardo Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Maringá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Templarius FC - FDFDF the free kick. Ricardo Félix hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The corner went over the outstretched arms of Grêmio Maringá's goalie and right to Giovani Sá. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Grêmio Maringá's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 58th minute Silvério Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luís Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Zé Pedro Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Templarius FC - FDFDF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waldir Paranaense in the 63rd minute. Juninho Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Templarius FC - FDFDF's Juninho Perez got control of the ball when Ismael de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juninho Perez had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Zé Pedro Sena from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The supporters of Templarius FC - FDFDF booed when Grêmio Maringá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvério Paulista hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Grêmio Maringá's André Luís Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Paranaense in the 82nd minute of play. Giovani Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. André Luís Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luís Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Sá in the 87th minute of the match. Templarius FC - FDFDF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Zé Pedro Sena scored to the left of an out of position Juninho Perez, making the score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Paranaense in the 94th minute of play forced Grêmio Maringá's goalkeeper André Luís Dantas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luís Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glauco Lucas in the 96th minute of the match. The Grêmio Maringá supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grêmio Maringá would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
