When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Cássio Recife put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Miguel Barbosa. In the 17th minute Cássio Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Centauros's Miguel Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Recife in the 19th minute of play. Miguel Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Recife's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Kasesky EC's Cássio Recife dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Dario Bodelon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Miguel Barbosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Miguel Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Bodelon in the 33rd minute. Dario Bodelon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Miguel Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Centauros defense, Dario Bodelon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Barbosa. The Centauros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Barbosa should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cássio Recife was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Bodelon in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Barbosa saved Centauros from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Cássio Recife's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Barbosa was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. A collision led to Centauros getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Thiago Berger hit a great ball. Miguel Barbosa came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kasesky EC's Dario Bodelon. But to his dismay, Dario Bodelon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Cássio Recife scored 6-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Recife in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dario Bodelon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dario Bodelon's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Miguel Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Recife in the 82nd minute of play forced Centauros's goalkeeper Miguel Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Bodelon in the 83rd minute of the match. Dario Bodelon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Miguel Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Cássio Recife made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Centauros's Miguel Barbosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Pascual Barrutia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Kasesky EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
