Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Rossi to make the kick off. Daniel Albuquerque was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarbas Barbosas short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Daniel Albuquerque to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Atlético Paraense's Daniel Albuquerque got control of the ball when Jarbas Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo Ferreira got free with Daniel Albuquerque in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Atlético Paraense fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barcelona FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
