Dinei Vides's shot from long distance in the 12th minute was not bad at all, but Barre Futebol Clube's Elias de Medeiros knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Vágner Medeiros scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juvenal Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Vágner Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Cláudio Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorian Sergipano made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Barre Futebol Clube's Christian Fantini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juvenal Soares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
