After 6 played minutes É pra acabar FC!!!!!!!! got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Medeiros. 7 minutes into the match, Atlético RS's Waldir Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Macedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dieguinho Linares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Natanael Sousa came out and tried to block the shot, but Dieguinho Linares slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Atlético RS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Frederico Souza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Hélio Silva fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético RS's protests and gave Hélio Silva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Atlético RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Silva to maneuver through the defense. Frederico Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natanael Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Aguiar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Victor Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Natanael Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atlético RS's Natanael Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Aguiar in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Victor Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natanael Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 34 minutes into the game, Dieguinho Linares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Natanael Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Waldir Rocha hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Atlético RS's Natanael Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Aguiar in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldir Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Atlético RS's Marcel Vale got a free kick in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the match, Atlético RS's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Souza came free, but Natanael Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natanael Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to É pra acabar FC!!!!!!!! getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cauan Negri hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Atlético RS got a freekick which was hit by Benê Medeiros. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético RS! After having played for 79 minutes, Victor Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. É pra acabar FC!!!!!!!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But to his dismay, Marcelo Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Frederico Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Sousa having to interfere. Victor Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 minutes, Glauco de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atlético RS and the É pra acabar FC!!!!!!!! players grew even worse after the yellow card. É pra acabar FC!!!!!!!! walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
